BATIK AND TAMAN SARI

Batik is the first textile design that I was study. I am remember at that time I must ride a bike with some friends to study batik. Its about 30 minutes to reach the studio, my headmaster home. He is Mr. Muh Hadjir Driyodipuro, a master of batik painting art. He has many student, not only from Indonesia but most of his student are foreingers. He had ever taught batik in Australia too for some years ago.

I love his studio. he make a house with full bamboo tree along his wall home. Its very artistic one. His studio locate in front of Taman Sari gate. It is a water castle and belonging to The Sultanate of Yogyakarta. If you spent time in this city. I wises you go to my headmaster studio of batik. You can learn and practicing batik art in a short time. He has a complete package course, begining from consept, line drawing in textile, waxing with canthing , coloring process and rewaxing finishing process.

After studying batik, You can go to Taman Sari. You will have an adventure to go inside this ancient building. There are some pole of The Sultanate. And also it is a fantastic to hear the story about it in the past.

COMPUTER AID DESIGN

Want you to be a designer ? As a designer you must have a basic skill....drawing . Dont worry if you want to be a designer but you not have a good drawing skill. You can use a computer aided design. Everyone can make a drawing by any CAD. Just driving yourself with full a joy and smart art design. Nowadays there are many computer software that can help us in a fashion duty. Begining from : How to make scetch, How to arrange color and style, How to present your design idea, How to make patern garment, How to make a calculation about fabric consumtion etc. First you must study one of CAD. While you have understand about one CAD. You will be easy to study and practising the other software.
There are many software program design that you can choose as like CorelDRAW, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Freehand, Adobe Illustrator, Lectra, Gerber Optitect. Altek etc. You can buy the master in a computer shop.

Who am I ?

I write this blog-site because I have been employed in a fashion garment industry for many years.I want to share my experience, skill information and knowledge. Actually I am start from my hobby in drawing. When I was a kid, many time I had a good price in drawing. Fortunately, I live in an art environment. Everyday I always see and interact with people who loving art and have in an arts business. Yogyakarta is my loving city. Thanks good, I was born in Yogyakarta., DIY, Indonesia. It is a real art city. As a Yogyanesse I have an arts in my body and soul. This arts desire always drive my mind.

“Batik” is the first textile I had made. At that time I was an eight years old young boy and un-experience about fashion. Time by time I had been more understand about Batik and his product that derived from Batik. Like Clothes, Souvenir, Painting etch.

Starting career in fashion just as a hobby only. I never dream in to be a professional in fashion business. And I never thinking before, finaly I have had working in a fashion industry. As a fashion designer, Graphics Designer, Qualty Control, Quality Assurance, Merchandiser etch , I have experience in all that professional position. Beginning from design, planning, quality and production, also export to the buyer at the end point.

I have a good drawing skills. It is make support to develop my business. But in this day You did not afraid if you did not have a drawing skills. In the new era now, there are many software design that can give you some aid in design. The important think you must have an art desire in fashion.
